Ms Diwan joined the school after 25 years at Foundation Public School. She joined Foundation at its inception and proceeded to eventually hold several leadership positions. Her last assignment there was as Director, Academics.
Munira Diwan’s early specialization was in the teaching of mathematics but she subsequently trained for and developed in school leadership roles. She has attended numerous courses in and outside Pakistan on teaching techniques and on school leadership. She regularly trains teachers of some of the city’s leading schools.
Perveen Alavi is the Headmistress of the Junior School at Civilizations. Prior to joining Civilizations, Ms Alavi was the Vice Principal at the Headstart School at Clifton. Ms Alavi holds a diploma in special education from READ and a BSc in Home Economics. She has also trained extensively in Pakistan and abroad.
Naushin Husain is the Headmistress of the Senior School at Civilizations. Naushin Husain previously headed the junior section at CAS School at PECHS (the school has since shifted to DHA). Ms Husain holds a BA from Government College for Women in Islamabad.
